Livigesh has got back into using samplers especially MPC2000XL, MPC One and Roland SP808 when the covid-19 pandemic hit. He was no longer DJing electronic genres such as house and techno for the most part of the pandemic. Collecting records became something of a little joy each day/week/month. From collecting records, Livigesh rediscovered his ear for listening to different parts of music that would suit each other when the records were spinning.

He would make instrumentals by sampling the records he has collected over the years. Sometimes a track would be made around samples and he would take out the samples to "flip" a song in a different way.
His sampling techniques and the ear to hear and feel out what would be a good "loop" started to sprout. After producing copious amounts of instrumentals without any plans or goals, he decided to put out the beats he made in bundles with the title "Liquid Moonrise."

This is the first instalment of the "Liquid Moonrise" series, and first beat tape Livigesh has recorded onto tape.
